An outdoor enthusiast who loves fitness.

Hey there! Welcome to my little slice of the internet.

I am a health and fitness coach dedicated to helping badass outdoor women stay healthy so they can go play outside more. I want to help you find time in your busy schedule to take care of yourself by eating healthy and exercising and making it a habit that you love.

I’ve been obsessed with the outdoors as long as I can remember. My mom used to take my sister and I on summer weekend trips to the White Mountains of New Hampshire and to Sugarloaf to go skiing in the winter. This grew into a passion for being outdoors as much as possible.

In 2012 I moved to Colorado where being outdoors is a part of life. I live in the mountains of Summit County and I try to get out and explore the wilderness at my back door as much as possible.

I became an avid trail runner soon after moving here, and began a racing career around the state and the west. I absolutely loved it. But I never did much training in the gym or outside of just running all the time. I was bad at stretching before and after and my diet was okay, but I wasn’t really fueling my body for long distance running.

In 2015 I tore my hip flexor running a 50k in Canada. No longer able to run even a mile outside my door, my world crumbled. It felt like everything I loved about living here was unattainable.

I went to and orthopedic doctor and to physical therapy and was given exercises for strengthening my glutes, as the tear was small and they said surgery probably would only make it worse.

The exercises were okay but I could never get into a routine of doing them. They were boring and I wasn’t motivated. I made every excuse in the book and continued to sink into a depression because I couldn’t play outside.

Then one day an old friend from high school reached out and asked me if I was interested in joining a fitness challenge group that she was doing. She told me it was super ab and glute focused and I thought, well what the hell maybe I can strengthen my glutes and have someone hold me accountable to working out everyday.

It was better than I could have imagined. I quickly became obsessed with the workout program and finally strengthened my glutes and core so that I can finally run again with little to no pain! Due to the nature of my injury I will probably never run long distance again, but now at least I can go on a run out my back door, and I can hike and ski and enjoy being outside!

Soon after realizing how amazing this program was I dove in head first to coaching and mentoring others to create a fitness routine that they love too.

These programs are life changing! Not just physically but mentally too.

I am happier than I have been in a long time, and the best part is I can keep up with my friends outside again. Being happy and healthy is a lifestyle that I want to share with the world!
